Those aren't judged as harshly and usually the judges write down comments and advice to help you. At least at the ones I do. God to a local tack shop. There should be a bulliton board with info or the owner might know about shows. Also, ask your instructor and people around your bard. I got hooked in because my parents are both avid riders so it helps to know someone who rides.
